He works with primary care and patients and their carers, in supporting and advocating a collaborative and informed choice and treatment plans for patients. He works in partnership with people or organisations that the patient consents to, and always has a strong focus on recovery.

Private treatment

Mental health problems and psychiatric illnesses are common problems with 1 in 4 adults at one point in their life. Symptoms often go unrecognised by the patient or their loved ones or colleagues. Problems with mood, burn out, irritability, concentration, attention, flash backs, drinking, drug taking, libido and sex drive changes, anxiety, panic or sleep, can all be related. Psychosis in which reality and unreality blur can occur at times. This may include experiencing the sound of voices, or other perceptions that are not seen/heard or sensed by others. Assessment, diagnosis, and effective treatment can now be easily sought. Treatments such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, anxiolytics, CBT, psychological therapies, alcohol or substance misuse or dependence, and detox programmes can all seem like a minefield. Dr Roberts can help navigate the recovery journey through these ensuring that you receive only the best and most effective treatments, individually tailored for you.

The initial fee for a consultation with Dr Roberts is £440, with short follow up consultations £190. For more information, contact Dr Roberts directly. These are subject to review.
