I have a range of clinical interests and experience, and have a busy NHS practice where I treat a wide variety of benign and malignant urological conditions.

I also have a particular interest in medical writing and publishing, and was formerly editor of Urology News, and an currently deputy editor of Surgeons News and editor of SN Global. I am also one of the web editors for the BJU International website.

Medico-legal experience

I have a busy and expanding medicolegal practice, encompassing all aspects of urological surgery. Currently I receive approximately 70 instructions per year and provide approximately 50 reports. My work is evenly divided between negligence and personal injury work.

I am currently one of the few urologists listed in the Law Society of Scotland Directory of Expert Witnesses.
