WPA now tops up the costs of NHS Dental Care

WPA has enhanced dental plan Providental to benefit NHS customers wishing to supplement their NHS dental care, as it offers 100% reimbursement for all dental treatment costs incurred as an NHS patient.

Rod Bramston of WPA comments, “We have designed NHS Top-Up Providental to be even more competitive in terms of freedom to choose a dentist, benefits and price.  Customers can have the confidence that premiums will not increase as a result of making a claim. Customers also have the confidence of knowing that they are taking out cover directly with WPA - the insurer who pays your claims - and not a third party offering a badged product on behalf of another insurer. With no requirement for a dental examination before applying, this will help keep our customers smiling.”

Providental is a dental insurance plan for individuals and families providing cash back towards many common dental expenses as well as cover for dental injuries and oral cancer.

NHS charges vary across the UK.In England and Wales, NHS dental treatment is charged in three bands.  In Scotland and Northern Ireland, dental treatment is charged per item and patients pay 80% of treatment costs up to a maximum limit.  In Scotland, check ups are free.
