Wintersports and supplier failure cover’s winter sports cover is one of the most comprehensive on the market and, with an economy policy starting from just £14.08 for a single trip or £22.49 for an annual policy, why would anyone travel without it.

Unlike some policies on the market, not only covers traditional skiing and snowboarding but also more adventurous off-piste experiences such as big foot skiing, cat skiing, cross-country skiing, glacier skiing, ice hockey, mono skiing and snow-blading. And not forgetting sledging and tobogganing which you definitely need to be covered for.’s MD Antony Martin comments: “Often we see cases where people take out a standard travel insurance policy and assume they are covered for everything, which is usually not the case. With skiing and other sports additional specialist cover is required to protect the client fully. Our winter sports cover is one of the most comprehensive on the market offering total peace of mind. Furthermore we also offer protection against piste closure due to poor conditions, which is certainly useful in Europe given the circumstances in recent years.”

In addition to’s winter sports policy the broker also recommends travellers take out its new Supplier Failure Cover that costs just £4 per trip or £8 for an annual policy.

Supplier Failure Cover is designed to protect consumers when an airline, hotel, car hire company or tour operator ceases to trade.

SFC should be purchased alongside a traditional travel insurance product. The policy protects clients for a value of up to £5,000 and will reimburse up to that much towards the cost of a new flight, for example, regardless of the original ticket cost.
