International expatriate insurance specialist William Russell has launched an enhanced international health insurance plan for companies with more than 20 expatriate employees which allows pre-existing medical conditions to be covered in full. The new GlobalHealth plan also enables members to benefit from maternity care, dental and well-being benefits without first completing a qualifying membership period.
James Cooper, sales director, William Russell says: “Employers with staff working overseas on expatriate contracts want to be able to give the staff and their dependants full health insurance cover without the need of complicated medical application forms and without them having to wait for months before qualifying for benefits such as maternity care and dental treatment. The last thing they need is a hold-up in sending an employee to a new expat posting because of delays in medical underwriting. Our new Group Plan sweeps away the need for individual medical underwriting and, provided it is a compulsory, company-paid plan, with all eligible employees being insured, we will provide cover for pre-existing medical conditions. We have also eliminated all the waiting periods on maternity, dental and well-being benefits so that our corporate plan members will enjoy full cover from day one.”
