Westfield supports children’s charity

Westfield Health is backing a charity that helps children with sight problems to enjoy a range of sports and social activities. The health cash insurer has donated £10,000 to Actionnaires, Sheffield, run by national sight loss charity Action for Blind People (Action), which works with around 30 children from across South Yorkshire.

The Actionnaires club, which is based at Westfield Sports College in Sheffield, runs a weekly club that is only made possible thanks to Westfield Health’s donation. The Actionnaires club provides sports and social activities for sight-impaired children and young people aged four to 14 years old, their friends and siblings. Activities offered are varied and include kickboxing, judo, swimming, basketball and skiing.
