Westfield Health has continued its digital drive with the launch of the company’s first iPhone app. The app, which is available for free through Apple’s App Store, enables policyholders to access real-time information on benefit balances, renewal dates and recent claims.
Paul Shire of Westfield Health says, "We have a third of a million policyholders across the UK and recognise that a significant number of those are accessing information through their smartphones and iPhones in particular. The development of the app is a natural progression as we continue to look at new and innovative ways to improve our policyholders’ experience. Having real-time information about available balances allows each policyholder to budget for their healthcare while they are on the move.”
