The Bracknell Teddies nursery manager has trained to NVQ level 3 in childcare and early years and was thrilled with his award.

The award for Most Outstanding Nursery Nurse went to Zabida Khan from Teddies Nursery in Woking, while Teddies Godalming took away the prize for Most Outstanding Learning Centre.

Nursery manager Sarah Harman revealed: "There were a number of criteria we were judged on, but I am sure it was the overwhelming support and endorsement of the parents that secured us this award."

Teddies Nurseries are operated by Bupa and cater for children between three months and school age.

All 32 of the nurseries are registered with Ofsted and encourage youngsters to develop their confidence and social skills while learning and discovering.
