SurgiCare launches new cosmetic treatment

Cosmetic surgery company SurgiCare has unveiled a new Vaser Lipo procedure which reduces the recovery time associated with its current body contouring treatments.

The company experienced a 375 per cent year-on-year increase in enquiries for SmartLipo during the first three months of the year.

In response, it has decided to introduce a revolutionary new concept, which uses laser technology to selectively melt unwanted fat cells, thereby reducing the possibility of swelling and bruising.

Chief executive officer Mark Bury claimed: "The introduction of the new Vaser Lipo procedure will mean even better results for patients and represents a major step forward.

"With the increase in the number of enquiries which we have already received for SmartLipo procedures this year, we expect to be very busy in the run up to the summer holidays."

Patients who choose SurgiCare for their cosmetic surgery procedure will have their operation performed at their nearest BMI Healthcare hospital.

BMI Healthcare has nearly 60 hospitals across the UK, making it the nation's largest private hospital group.
