Former England rugby player and Strictly Come Dancing star Austin Healey has revealed his support for Spire Healthcare, one of the UK's largest private hospital companies.
The sportsman has undergone a number of procedures at Spire Healthcare and is now helping the company promote its new website.
In total, Healey estimates that he has visited his local Spire Healthcare hospital around 200 times during the course of his sporting career.
"I would not hesitate to recommend the treatment and care I received with Spire," he said.
"I know from experience that it is the place where the leading consultants work, supported by teams of highly-skilled and dedicated staff."
Healey has undergone a number of procedures, including jaw realignment, reconstruction of his left shoulder and knee, and treatment for a torn Achilles.
"The fact that I have such mobility and was able to dance and compete in Strictly is testament to the treatment I received," he claimed.
Dr JJ de Gorter, clinical director of Spire Healthcare, revealed that many of the country's leading sportsmen choose Spire Healthcare - a trend he claimed is "a reflection on the quality of our services and staff".
Spire Healthcare works with over 3,000 experienced consultant surgeons and specialists and treats a small number of NHS patients under the government's Patient Choice scheme.
