Standard Life Healthcare to enter expatriate healthcare market

Standard Life Healthcare plans to enter the expatriate/international market - an area that it has avoided in the past. The insurer will be working with a partner who has existing relationships with hospitals internationally, and the product will be different rather than a copycat.

A new PMI product for consumers will be launched before the international one, and cover for cancer, including perhaps a new top-up policy, will be amended.
