Spa in the city raises £4500 for Maggie's cancer centre

Guests at Bright Grey's spa spectacular event on Wednesday 6 October were pampered, preened and polished to help raise funds for Maggie's Cancer Centre. The event organised by Bright Grey's charity committee was attended by 175 people and raised £4500.

An army of massage therapists, hairstylists and make-up artists attended to guests while comedian Craig Hill provided the laughs. The money raised from the spa evening will help Maggie's Edinburgh to fund their essential programmed of emotional and practical support to help people to build a life with, through and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Fiona Holmes at Bright Grey says, "The spa evening was a fun way to raise money but at the same time highlighting the brilliant work the charity does, in supporting people living with cancer from across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Our pampering experts and Craig Hill gave their time for free to help raise money for this fantastic cause."
