Simplyhealth helps children with limited mobility

Designers of the children's fun mobility aid product, the Wizzybug, at the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering are delighted to receive a donation of £42,500 from Simplyhealth.

Developed by a team of engineers at the charitable institute, the Wizzybug is a fun, powered vehicle for disabled children to experience early years mobility.

Tony Husband of BIME says, "With its funding we will be able to continue to provide Wizzybugs to more children with limited mobility. The Wizzybugs have a range of controls and seating adjustments. They can be used with adult supervision indoors and out, in accessible areas such as level gardens, playgrounds and parks, enabling children to have a fun experience."
