Sheffield cancer patients receive boost from Westfield

Sheffield cancer patients and their carers are set to benefit from a new Cancer Care Support Service, thanks to a £10,000 donation from Westfield Health.

The donation, made to Macmillan Cancer Support in Sheffield, has been put directly into the Cancer Care Support Service, which was established by Macmillan and the charity Crossroads earlier this year. The service aims to provide respite and support for carers, in the hope of improving both their quality of life and that of the patient.

Graham Moore, Chairman of Westfield Health, says: “The Macmillan Crossroads Cancer Care Support Service is invaluable to people who are living with cancer in and around Sheffield and we are happy to help. We hope this donation can make a difference.”
