Tesco Bank has entered into an agreement with Fortis to provide the underwriting, claims management and sales and service support to Tesco Bank's travel insurance customers. Fortis will start to underwrite Tesco Travel Insurance policies by the end of the year. It is a five-year agreement. Tesco Travel Insurance attracts around 170,000 customers each year.
Benny Higgins of Tesco says, "We look to expand our travel insurance business with straightforward products that offer our customers good value."
