Alex Reid contemplates laser hair removal

Laser hair removal is on Alex Reid's list of possible things to do.

The former winner of Celebrity Big Brother told the Harley Medical Group recently that he was considering the procedure.

Reid, who is the husband of Katie Price and a cage-fighter, said that he was thinking of having laser hair removal on his arms, legs and chest.

He cited a possible boost to his fighting career as one of the reasons why he was thinking about the treatment.

"It makes me more slippery when fighting, looks better and is more hygienic," Reid told the private health firm.

Although he later admitted: "I still can't decide if I want the choice to be hairy taken away from me for life."

It was revealed earlier this year by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons that cosmetic procedures are becoming increasingly popular among men.

Indeed, in 2009 there was a 21 per cent increase in the number of treatments performed on male patients.
