Sheffield cancer care gets charity boost

Westfield Health has given its support to improve cancer care facilities in Sheffield.

 

The company has donated more than £25,000 to Weston Park Hospital to provide a ‘Look Good, Feel Good Suite’ in the Chemotherapy Unit and a massage chair in the hospital’s specialised Teenage Cancer Unit.

 

The Look Good, Feel Good Suite helps patients to feel better about themselves. It’s a dedicated area to help those who have suffered hair loss as a result of chemotherapy.

 

The donation has opened up much more space and it helps to make chemotherapy, which can be an unpleasant experience, more bearable.
