Patients urged to use reputable cosmetic surgeons

People who are considering cosmetic surgery should do their homework and ensure they employ the services of a reputable and experienced surgeon, the Harley Medical Group has said.

The advice comes after glamour girl Alicia Douvall revealed that she has had 100 cosmetic operations - a total that places the motives of her surgeons in doubt.

The Harley Medical Group notes that reputable cosmetic surgeons always have responsibility to their patients at the forefront of their minds.

Ms Douvall has now been barred from having cosmetic surgery in the UK, but the Harley Medical Group believes this move has come too late and that her vulnerability should have been recognised sooner.

In light of this, the cosmetic surgery group has now launched new patient guidelines which emphasise the importance of seeking a reputable clinic and surgeon.

This will help to ensure that patients receive the most appropriate treatment and after-care service.

The Harley Medical Group has been providing cosmetic surgery in the UK for over 25 years and now has 26 clinics across the nation.
