A Department of Health review has set out the future of forty health-related public bodies, as part of a cross-government review led by the Cabinet Office.
Included in the list of bodies to be abolished is the Genetics and Insurance Committee.
This is very curious. According to the official Department of Health website, the Genetics and Insurance Committee was wound up on 1 July 2009.
