Canada Life has a new group critical illness policy, covering an extended range of conditions and two new support services. All claimants and their families will be able to contact RED ARC, which provides practical and emotional support, and Best Doctors, which provides a second assessment service for serious health conditions. It has added many conditions and improved the wording of several key existing ones.
Paul Avis of Canada Life says, "I like to think of our new group critical illness product as life support for our scheme members as we support them at every stage from the moment a claim form is submitted. RED ARC can provide practical and emotional support, while Best Doctors gives confidence in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. We believe that our members will find the counselling and support elements particularly valuable in what is undoubtedly a stressful time."
