Barclays has a new three-year partnership with FirstAssist. Barclays customers taking out travel cover from the bank will now have their cover provided by FirstAssist.
Alistair Hardie of FirstAssist says, “We deliberately offer a travel proposition that encompasses all customers no matter how old they are, how ill they are or where they are traveling to and that is quite unusual. For a company like Barclays, given its focus on improving customer service and loyalty, if someone is not eligible for travel insurance, it is very unhelpful from a brand perspective. Our flexibility and ability to underwrite a much broader cross section of the UK client base will overcome this.”
