New personal accident insurance for sportsmen

sportsman
Tasker & Partner has launched new personal accident policies for amateur and semi-professional sportsmen and women, underwritten at Lloyd’s.

Sportspolicy provides benefits including income replacement, physiotherapy and rehabilitation costs following sports injuries. The policies cover a range of sporting activities and can be purchased for individuals, families or teams. Individual policies provide cover on a sport specific basis for rugby, cricket, hockey and football.

Injuries from playing sport are common. They can cost you in lost income and expensive medical fees.

Sportspolicy is available to UK residents who are under the age of 60, including semi-professionals earning less than £4,000 a year from playing sport.

With up to 19 million new sporting injuries each year, costing some £500m in treatment and absence from work, the number of sports injury cases is likely to increase.
