Simplyhealth has been named best health insurer at this year's Personal Finance Awards. The shortlist of five companies was drawn up from nominations from members of the public. It was named the overall winner by a panel of journalists and intermediaries, who awarded a highest score of four out of five based on their judging criteria.
Jamie Wilson at Simplyhealth says: "Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and winning this award is testament to that."
The Personal Finance Awards are run in conjunction with www.themoneypages.com. More than 6000 people put forward a nomination for the awards this year.
