Canada Life has added bereavement counselling and a probate helpline to group life policies.
Both are accessible to an insured person's dependants and close relatives, or for themselves if they suffer bereavement.
Bereavement counselling includes a 24/7 telephone bereavement counselling helpline, practical advice and details of self help support groups and charities, and face-to-face sessions with a bereavement counsellor.
The probate helpline offers guidance on financial matters, legal advice on wills and probate, and explanation of state benefits.
