Benenden Healthcare Society is York’s ‘Large Business of the Year’ at The Press Business Awards held at York Racecourse. The awards, in their 20th year, are organised by York newspaper, The Press and aim to recognise the Yorkshire-based businesses that make a real impact on the local economy. It had been short listed alongside York Racecourse Hospitality and Gear4music.com.
The judges were impressed with the depth of the award submission which covered a wide range of the society’s successes in the past year, including the launch of a new service management system, growth in member recruitment, website development, increased services and support for members and investment in staff development.”
