Bupa eyes NHS top-up market

Bupa is considering launching tailored ‘top-up’ medical insurance policies following the government’s move to allow access to expensive cancer drugs alongside NHS care.

Dr Natalie-Jane Macdonald of Bupa says: “These drugs are very expensive and I think that it is true that people would insure against it – and that is something we need to start thinking about.”
