Men want wives to have cosmetic surgery

A new survey has discovered that a large number of men would like their wives to have cosmetic surgery.

Researchers found that 16 per cent of married male respondents thought their wife needed cosmetic surgery and one in ten thought their other half should have botox.

Almost a third of men thought that cosmetic surgery would spice up their sex life, with 23 per cent admitting that they missed the body their wife had when they first met.

The survey, which was reported by the Daily Telegraph, suggests that men want their partners to have a range of cosmetic procedures, with the top ten including liposuction, breast enlargement, breast uplifts, teeth whitening and bum implants.

A spokesman for Opera North, which commissioned the research, told the newspaper: "It seems that a lot of men think their wives could do with surgery to enhance their looks, but looking young and gorgeous isn't the be all and end all to a marriage."

He added: "It's particularly amusing that very few men would be prepared to do the same thing."

A recent survey by dating firm Parship.com found that a third of British men would prefer a partner without very large breasts, with 31 per cent claiming that they would rather not date someone with breasts larger than a 'D' cup.
