Stem-cell enriched fat, which has been retrieved from the patient, is then injected into the area of the body requiring attention, such as the breast or the face.
Cosmetic surgery and anti-ageing expert Dr Heinrich explains: "Madonna offers a good example for rejuvenation of the face by use of own fat."
Recovery from the procedure is rapid and the individual receiving the treatment can expect to be fit to leave the clinic immediately afterwards.
According to a report in the News of the World, Madonna's excessive work-outs in the gym played a part in the disintegration of her marriage to British film director Guy Ritchie.
