New insurance scheme for cancer sufferers

Those who are affected by lung cancer and find it difficult to get insurance because of their pre-existing medical condition are set to benefit from a new insurance service launched by The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

This is the first insurance service available in the UK to those with lung cancer who may normally struggle to get vital cover from traditional insurers.

Accessible via, the Foundation’s new insurance service offers a suite of products including private medical, health cash, critical illness and life insurance. Any products purchased via the website will result in a donation to the charity.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation’s new insurance service is provided by The Insurance Surgery, an independent brokerage specializing in insurance for people who are not healthy.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK charity dedicating to fighting lung cancer, supporting patients and their carers. This service provides them with vital insurance cover, which they might not be able to get from more traditional insurers simply because of their medical condition.
