Free exercise on the increase

According to new research from PruHealth, people are not eating as healthily as they would like to.

Over the last four years 75% have changed their eating and shopping habits with 68% saying healthier foods tend to be more expensive. Many feel that their health has worsened since 2008.

While many have cancelled expensive gym memberships, people are finding free ways of working out and taking regular exercise such as walking and running.

Dr Dawn Richards of PruHealth comments, "It is great to see that many are recognising that it does not have to cost a lot to exercise. Taking the stairs and hopping off the bus a stop early all helps."
