Staysure, the over 50s expert, has announced a new wedding cover policy add-on for its travel insurance policy.
Stewart Rioch at Staysure says, "Overseas weddings have increased hugely in popularity for both young and old; in 2010 over 57000 couples decided to head for foreign shores for their special day, which is almost one in five ceremonies If you decided to get married abroad you should strongly consider taking out wedding cover .We would always advise travellers to ensure they have sufficient medical cover, but when planning a wedding ceremony overseas it is even more important to protect yourself with appropriate insurance."
