A survey on attitudes to cosmetic surgery has generated nearly 200 responses in the first week alone.
A survey by The Hospital Group, UK leaders in Cosmetic Surgery, asked “Would you keep Cosmetic Surgery a Secret?”
The results so far are:
45% would tell family and friends only
37% would tell everyone
12% said “It’s my secret – I wouldn’t tell a soul”
A spokesperson for The Hospital Group said: “This survey offers a fascinating insight into cosmetic surgery.
It shows that the vast majority of people feel very positive about sharing the results either “with everyone” or at least those close to them. One respondent to the survey pointed out that she hoped people would notice the results!
However, for the 12% who feel that cosmetic surgery is a very private matter and do not even tell those closest to them. In those cases, patients can be reassured that we take patient confidentiality very seriously at The Hospital Group. Patients can choose which phone number, email and address they want to be used for contact. Medical Records and any personal information is treated entirely confidentially.
We will continue to monitor the results of this fascinating survey and thank our patients for having responded so honestly.”
The survey is still open for responses on the Group’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/hospitalgroupuk, which has over 4,000 followers and is growing fast.
