Simplyhealth has relaunched its consumer dental plan. It has been simplified and focuses more on a preventative approach. This is to bring it in line with customer need and encourage repeat visits to the dentist rather than those only made when treatment is required.
Raman Sankaran for Simplyhealth, says: "Following the recommendations made by Professor Steele and our own research of customers and dentists, we have made some simple revisions to our dental plan so that it is clearer and more relevant. We have put the emphasis on long term care by providing additional cover for check-ups and scale and polish to help individuals maintain good oral health. It now has four premium levels rather than two."
From just £7.50 a month, the Simply Dental Plan can be used for both NHS and private access and includes cover for check-ups, treatment and emergencies. It now also offers dental hospital cover which means that customers are entitled to £50 per day or night should they have to spend time in hospital following a referral from their dentist.
