RIAS launches Broken Bones Cash Plan

Over 50s specialist insurance provider RIAS has launched a new personal accident product, the RIAS Broken Bones Cash Plan.

It offers a lump sum payment of £400 if you break a bone in an accident, has no upper age limit and is available to new and current RIAS Home Insurance customers as an additional cover option. The plan can be taken out for an individual or to cover a couple.

For a premium of just £15.96 a year per person, or £1.33 a month, the cover provides a £400 cash payment, which can be used for anything at all, for example, help with travel costs if you are unable to drive. 7.7 million men and women are expected to suffer a bone fracture sometime in their life after the age of 50. The policy has no excess, no medical and no limit to the amount of new claims that can be made during the policy.
