Bupa is offering premium discounts to income protection customers accepted on the basis that certain conditions, such as back problems or mental illness, are excluded.
It is also offering a benefit guarantee where by verifying a customer's salary at application, the insurer guarantees that even if the customer’s situation changes, they will receive the agreed amount if they make a claim.
All customers now have access to the Best Doctors service, which provides access to expert second medical opinion.
