Medicash to sponsor Professional Liverpool Idol

Cash plan provider Medicash is the main sponsor of Liverpool’s own X Factor competition, called Professional Liverpool Idol.

The event is being run in partnership with Professional Liverpool, which is the business network and sector support organisation for financial and professional services firms across Liverpool.

It is hoped the event will raise around £15,000 for learning disability charity Mencap. It takes place on July 9 at PanAmerican, at the Albert Dock, where 10 hopefuls will compete head-to-head in front of a panel, with the audience having the deciding vote.

Medicash’s Sue Weir says, “Mencap does invaluable work in the region and we are delighted to be supporting this event which should be tremendous fun and will raise much-needed funds for the charity.”
