Tesco Health Insurance celebrates birthday

Tesco logo

When it launched one year ago Tesco Health Insurance aimed to open up the market to people who had previously not considered health insurance or felt it was an expensive luxury. This cover combines value and simplicity with no medical questions if you are under 75. Tesco Health Insurance is easy to buy with a choice of 3 levels of cover and a 35% no claims discount for new customers.

Jeremy Sutton, Head of Tesco Health Insurance says "Health insurance is about quickly finding out what's wrong with you and then making sure you have it treated promptly. With prices like this, we hope to show just how affordable health insurance can be."

Tesco Health Insurance could cost a mere £1.50 a day.

It is underwritten by AXA PPP healthcare.

If you do not make a claim, you are rewarded with a no claims discount. The maximum no claims discount after three claim-free years is 55%. At this point you may be eligible to purchase an NCD protector. Otherwise, if you claim, you go back three steps on the eight point NCD scale.
