Foresters has updated its personal insurance products. The two new plans – Lifestyle Protection Options and Mortgage Protection Options have been developed in response to customer feedback, and offer a range of options for life, critical illness and income protection needs. Both are underwritten by Forester Life.
New features include the option to receive life and critical illness benefits either as a lump sum or an annual income. Mortgage protection cover is available on a level or decreasing basis. Lifestyle Protection Options covers both single and joint life.
A wider range of deferred periods is available on Income Protection Benefit and the list of critical illnesses for which cover is provided has been extended to match the new ABI standards.
Commenting on these new plans, Euan Allison, UK Group Managing Director, explains:
“We’ve given a lot of thought as to how we could update our personal insurance coverage to meet today’s needs for flexible terms and clear and simple conditions. These plans are adaptable for a wide range of individual circumstances and we’ve developed a new range of straightforward and easy-to-understand documentation to help our customers select exactly the cover they need.”
