Croatia's reputation as a destination for
dentistry is growing, with patients increasingly travelling to the country for treatment.
Tourists from Germany, Sweden and Norway have reportedly long known the financial benefits of visiting Croatia to combine dental work with a holiday, and it seems that Britons are now getting in on the act.
Croatian dentist Goran Nedoklan, who operates a clinic in the popular coastal location of Vodice, told Independent Online that nearly half of his patients come from overseas.
"It's worth coming here even to put in a single crown and spend a few days in a nice little coastal town," he commented.
Prices for dental treatment in Croatia are significantly lower than in the UK and Ireland, and patients can expect the best possible treatment.
The country is also incredibly beautiful, so visitors can be assured of a pleasant, picturesque and culture-filled break.
