Startling new figures have been released showing that facial rejuvenation surgery is the fastest growing area of cosmetic surgery by far for 2011.
The Hospital Group, UK leader in cosmetic surgery provider, is seeing a staggering 97% more enquiries for facial rejuvenation surgery procedures compared to the same period in 2010.
The biggest increase is in eyelid lifts, where enquiries are up a colossal 140% year on year. However, all facial rejuvenation procedures from face, brow and neck lifts to eye bag removal are seeing double-digit increases in the numbers of requests the Company receives.
A spokesperson for The Hospital Group said “This is a really exciting start to the New Year for cosmetic surgery. Our team are seeing a lot more patients who are seeking surgical solutions to turn back the signs of ageing. People just aren’t happy to “age gracefully”. Today’s patients want to look as young as they feel to get ahead at work, look attractive to a partner or just feel good about themselves.
The last few years have seen a number of high-profile UK celebrities go under the knife for cosmetic surgery procedures to make the face look younger. Louis Walsh reportedly had eyebags removed before the X-factor last year and George Clooney and Bono are also said to have had the procedure. Celebrities are being seen with effective but less extreme results has appealed to our patients.”
The Group has also seen several hundred enquiries for the ground-breaking new one-stitch face lift, which is performed under local anaesthetic so patients can return home the same day.
The Hospital Group’s spokesperson said “The one-stitch face lift was launched last year and has been an excellent addition to the range of procedures we offer. It is ideal for men and women seeing ageing wrinkles and lines from the late 30′s onwards and for the right patient can take 10 years off. However, it isn’t for everyone, which is why we have a number of surgical options available. If you are thinking about cosmetic surgery, we recommend getting personal advice on what can be achieved by a cosmetic surgeon who specialises in aesthetic cosmetic surgery.”
The Hospital Group offer free consultations with an experienced cosmetic surgery consultant in 20+ clinics around the UK.
