BMI The Chiltern Hospital on London Roadhas been awarded an overall satisfaction score of 98.6% per cent by its patients for delivering excellent medical care and customer service.
According to an independent survey conducted by market research firm Howard Warwick Associates, during the period January 1st to December 31st 2010 The Chiltern Hospital received 1,093 completed patient questionnaires. Of those patients responding, 98.6% rated their overall quality of care as good, very good or excellent.
The survey measured patient satisfaction across a broad range of criteria including patients’ overall impression of admission, nursing, consultant care, imaging (X-ray) anaesthetists, theatre staff, accommodation and whether patients they were treated with respect and dignity.
Founded in 1982, The Chiltern Hospital employs 470 staff and works with 237 of consultants. Its major specialties include Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Plastic Surgery.
