Leading health expert Professor Robert Winston is to be the guest speaker at this year’s annual Westfield Health Lecture at Sheffield Hallam University.
Professor Winston is perhaps best known for his broadcasting work that has helped to popularise science and medicine among the public. In addition to his successful TV career he has also written a number of popular science books for both adults and children, and is a sought-after speaker to adult audiences and to children in schools. He has led the way in advances widely used in fertility and IVF treatment.
The event will take place on Thursday 25 March at 7pm and will be held at Sheffield Hallam University’s Pennine Theatre.
Due to popular demand, tickets for the event have now sold out. It is the third Westfield Health event in a series of annual lectures at the university on health-related subjects.
