If considering a switch from your existing health insurer to
Health-on-Line, it is now quick and straightforward to change providers.
People switch health cover plans for a number of reasons -
it could be that the switch is simply in order to get a better deal than an
existing policy currently offers, or it could be due to a change in employment
necessitating the move from a group health insurance policy. And in some cases
people switch because they just like to try out a new provider when policy
renewal time rolls around again. Whatever the reason, Health-on-Line makes
switching as easy as possible.
The most important question people often have is whether it
is possible to change health cover if you have an existing medical condition.
This is because most health insurance covers new conditions rather than
existing ones. But if you have been well for over 12 months (and insured during
that period) then it is often possible to provide cover that has the same
exclusions as the provider you are currently with, and planning to switch from.
Another concern when considering a switch from one health
insurance provider to another is whether cover will be continuous during the
switching process. In most cases cover commences the moment the existing policy
ends - so there is no need to worry about any break in cover, as long as the
switch takes place within 30 days of the existing policy's end date.
