Gallagher Heath Insurance Services is working with
Pancreatic Cancer UK to provide a service to people affected by the condition,
as well their carers and other supporters of the charity.
The offerings include travel insurance for all the
travelling party under the same policy. Premiums will be calculated based on
each individual’s declaration - by age, pre-existing and declared medical
conditions and destination.
Pancreatic cancer is the 5th most common cause of cancer
death in Europe one of the most lethal cancers in the UK. Over 8,000 people in the UK are diagnosed
every year of whom fewer than 20% survive more than a year and less than 3%
live for more than 5 years.
