Aviva is encouraging people to take control of their health
with the launch of Aviva Health 100, a new Facebook app that rates your health
and allows you to compare scores with friends and family.
You are then provided with advice and goals to become fitter
and healthier, and will be able to share progress on your goals tracker to
build up a personal army of online support.
Available to all Facebook users, you are invited to answer a
short quiz about lifestyle, including diet, exercise, drinking and smoking
habits, which are used to generate a health score out of 100 (with 100 being
the best score). The app then provides tips and advice so you can make
lifestyle changes to improve the health score. It also presents a number of
achievable goals, and invites you to set your own personal health goals.
Tips and videos featuring health and fitness experts,
including players from Norwich City Football Club, athletes and Premiership
Rugby players, provide inspiration and information on how to exercise and make
healthy dietary changes. A range of personal stories is also available to
inspire others to take control of their health.
