Catherine takes to the sky to make wishes come true for kids

NFU Mutual

On Sunday 17th June Catherine Simpson from Rushden will take part in a tandem skydive to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Make-A-Wish is the corporate charity for Catherine's employer NFU Mutual. The charity grants magical wishes to children and young people who are fighting life-threatening conditions.

Catherine says, "It is a lifelong ambition of mine, so to have the opportunity to do it and raise money for such a good cause at the same time - I could not refuse."

The skydive is at Hinton Airfield, Oxfordshire, and Catherine will jump from two miles up in the sky, freefalling for around 45 seconds and reaching speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, before floating back down to earth.

Catherine would like to raise at least £325 from her skydive, and has set up a Just Giving page for donations: www.justgiving.com/cat-simpson.
