It is widely understood nowadays that most celebrities have had cosmetic dentistry work, whether it’s veneers, whitening or straightening.
However, there can be little hiding from the truth for former supermodel and “I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here” contestant Janice Dickinson, who lost her teeth while eating at a restaurant.
Reportedly, Janice was so enjoying her conversation that she removed her teeth. She explained, “I was so excited talking to my friend that I put my teeth in my napkin, and then I couldn’t find them!”
After involving the staff in a very unsubtle search, the teeth were eventually found, to Janice’s great relief - “These things are so expensive they could feed a small village.”
The Hospital Group offer cosmetic dentistry to people of all walks of life in the UK. A spokesperson said: “Cosmetic dentistry has come a long way and our expert cosmetic dentists are experts in the field, employing the latest techniques and equipment.
"Rather than removable bridges and false teeth, we tend to fit veneers which do not need to be removed at all. Our unique pain-free veneers are custom-made to fit over the teeth; correcting the appearance of teeth which are chipped , cracked, misshapen, misaligned, rotated and discoloured.
"No injections are required and the teeth require no grinding down, which leaves the structure of the tooth intact and avoids the pain and discomfort associated with traditional veneers.
"We don’t know what Janice Dickinson paid for her false teeth, but the cost of veneers is surprisingly affordable too at £495 per upper tooth and £395 per lower. A common treatment choice is to have 4 or 8 upper veneers with lower whitening to complete the look.”
The Hospital Group offer cosmetic dentistry in a network of purpose-fitted cosmetic dentistry clinics. A consultation, which may include x-rays, impression and smile consultation as well as an individual treatment plan, is currently just £25 (normal price £149).
