A new fee structure for the UAE visit visa will be in place from August 1. Instead of getting workers on visit visas, companies can bring in workers from other countries on mission visas allowing them a stay of three months and cost the companies Dh200. They can not be renewed.
Health insurance has been made compulsory for all visitors and it will be paid by the sponsoring employer at the time of issuance of the visa.
