Employees at Friends Life have been helping out in the local Bristol community, assisting with DIY and manual jobs as part of the company's annual community challenge initiative, which helps a large number of local charities, schools and community groups.
St Michaels School in Stoke Gifford had help with numerous jobs including the painting of a courtyard and the construction and planting of flowerbeds.
At The Avon Riding Centre for the Disabled, employees rolled up their sleeves and cleaned the stables and helped with the gardens.
