Health insurer Prudential has had great success with its Vitality Points system on private medical insurance with PruHealth.
It now plans to bring the system into use for some income protection and life policies.
Drastic lifestyle changes could soon mean lower premiums.
It will be launched late in 2007.
Initial plans are for it to be used on Flexible Protection Plan.
This is part of a strategy of focusing on this product.
